Is Back Nut made of BRASS shown in picture ?
Yes,this item is solid brass

Does the waste come with the washer and big nut?
Yes,the washer and the nut are included with the waste.

Would it fit bathtub?
No, this won't fit a bath since this is for a basin only 1.1/4",the bath waste size is 1.1/2".

The features say 'Slotted - suitable for basin with overflow'.What fitting is required to connect a basin overflow to this?
You don't fit any extra fitting to this. If your basin has an overflow slot, the water runs through the slot and into the chrome flip top slot which is obviously attached to the waste pipe. In a word, this should just be a normal basin waste you don't need an overflow fitting as overflow runs in to basin waste.

When fitting do you need to use any sealant at all - if so what kind? Thanks
In fact, you don't need any sealant since there are three washers. One from the top and the other two at the bottom. But if you still need some sealant to ensure it is water tight, please use some good plumbing sealant.
