Self-discipline is difficult. People get attracted by lots of easy, funny and tasty things. So you may lose time, become fatter or forget your goal totally. You know you are wrong but you could not control yourself. So the phenomenon is you are happy for some time but full of negative energy after that when you regret for what you did.

 

So try to be a self- control person. Never regret for what you lost, what you waste any more.

First stop what you get used to do now. Say no to junk food, stay up late and etc. Keep your body healthy first and your body will pass the signal to your mind to be hard on yourself.

 

Have a plan for your goal. What do you want to achieve? How much weight do you want to lose? Do you want to learn a new skill? Think of your goal and make a detailed and strict plan in short term and long term. With plan, you have something to work towards. You know what is expected of you, and you’re less likely to be completely out of control. If you could not insist on it at one certain time, just relax and find a middle way in one day or one hour. It will help you go further on your plan.

 

Give yourself grace. If you force yourself too hard, it will be counterproductive. Remember that you are human. You aren’t perfect, and no matter how hard you try, you never will be perfect. This is not an excuse – it’s grace. If you mess up, forgive yourself and keep to your system. As I always say, you are normal, and that’s ok. In fact, it’s fantastic. Embrace it and move on.

 

But anyway, to be self-control, you will be more powerful and energetic.
