Tile floors inside of a kitchen or bathroom can get sticky due to food, oil or drink spills or by you walking on the floor with wet and/or dirty feet. Although we might clean the floor in regular time, the sticky floor would not be cleaned in usual ways. We need some special care for these sticky floors. Here are the steps:

Step 1:

Sweep the floor thoroughly to remove all traces of dirt. Use a mop to go through the floors one time to make the floor a little wet.

Step 2:

Sprinkle baking soda over the area of the tile floor that is sticky.

Step 3:

Dampen a soft cloth or sponge with warm tap water.

Step 4:

Wipe the sticky floor thoroughly with the cloth/sponge.

Step 5:

Use a dry cloth or mop to wipe the floor to check whether the floors are sticky or not. If yes, please repeat step 1 to step 2.

Step 6:

Combine 1 cup of white vinegar and 1 gallon of warm water in a bucket. Stir to mix and use a mop to swipe again.

Step 7:

Dry the floor to check again. Repeat these steps until the floors are no longer sticky.
