Our life is like a running battery from birth at the beginning. But each battery has its life-span. If you use more, it would die more quickly. To be alone can make you take a break and recharge it. Moreover, people are exposed more to messages, emails, phone calls and etc. with rapid development of technology. They use more time to cope with all these things rather than focus on themselves. “Me-time” is helpful to distance yourself from the voices of the world so you can hear your own voice. Turn off all communication devices and cut the connections with outer worlds for a while. Taking this break, you could reflect what happened to you recently and judge it again. You don’t need to take other persons into consideration. You could be your own. Alone time will make you refreshed and drive out bad feelings.

 

How to spend alone time

Different people have their own choices. Alone time could be a few hours or several days even a longer period.

-Meditation

-Read books or watch movies which you don’t have time to read/watch before

-Do something for your own such as cooking or shopping

-Jump out of your current circle and take a trip to a place nobody knows you

-Take up a new hobby. Learn and practice at your own pace.

There is no restriction on what you do. What makes you feel comfortable, what is your choice. We only suggest leaving some time for yourself as it not only affects you but also people around you. Stay positive.
